TRACK 7 darkly
from February 25 to March 5, 2011
Opening Friday 25 February 18:00
Track 7 is a collective of young photographers since 2007 showcases choral works in which the single individuals living together in harmony, a group exhibition always looking for unconventional methods and a common passion for music and literature.
With their latest installation darkly , 70m2, in Poggiali 10 in Livorno, inaugurates a new season of events.
Photography and psychoanalysis in the twentieth century contributed, along with other epoch-making revolution, a radical change in Western culture, shaping the character of the modernity which still rework the flow. In the dark photography and psychoanalysis are flanked in a suggestive manner.
To see the photos in the exhibition are invited to take a ride shrouded in darkness, a "camera obscura" where images are generated from the affected beam of a flashlight. Darkness is the central theme of the installation: the lack of real metaphor of darkness is the light of rationality. The photos offer subjective views some of Freud's patients or their portraits possible, of course according to the interpretation of Track 7 . Each team member was lowered into the psyche of a person to trace an alleged identity, inspired by reading the clinical cases of Sigmund Freud.
The public does an interactive experience inside the "black box" designed by 70m2 : metaphorical reference to the skull which houses the image of the unconscious. The sound that accompanies the uncertain steps of the visitor and increases the number of the senses into play, it makes this experiment even more compelling. Track 7 entrusted to Giorgio De Santis , with whom he collaborated for the first time, the design of the acoustic part of the installation.
architecture firm 70m2 , working more actively in the drawing of the body that organizes the events, has designed and constructed for this work a corridor sensory totally invading the space and will remain viable for the course of a week, from February 25 to March 5, according to the following hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 to 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturday, 16:00 - 20:00.
Track 7 are Barsottini Julia, Alessio Bonatti, Chiara Nicolosi Francesca Nicolosi, Gian Luca Palazzolo, for the group's profile www.binario7.com

Uruguay - begin to get the eviction cedulones

Acrata BEGINNING TO GET THE EVICTION CEDULONES ... Pepe brings Noel ...
Good. As you will read below, despite the summer and what we were told, the case was not for nothing gained. On 22 December we arrived EVICTION CEDULÓN some of the families who started the process we on 25 October ...
From the first day (October 26), was put together an assembly neighboring horizontal (occupants and non-occupants) with a great diversity of opinions and attitudes ... from those who considered it a great opportunity to normalize to those who raised it was a way of attacking a social network that has been brewing for years with autonomy, and against all occupations, as our case is not isolated.
was so through the assembly (in addition to leaflets, graffiti and a festival where the legal defense fund and part of the distribution) resulting in two meetings with Yamandú Orsi (representing executive BMI) and aldermen of the FA. In the first meeting the neighbors Orsi said that "NO ONE IN A PROGRESSIVE GOVERNMENT IS GOING TO END IN THE STREET", stating that they would not accept payment of the contribution of Neptunia SA, but they would expect that SA is closer to them to negotiate debt and squatted land, so that no one had to go. So how are you a few promises more ...
He was at another meeting, this time with Carambula. As Carambula was totally inaccessible, it was confirmed a second meeting with Orsi ... but let planted ... after an hour of waiting, a neighbor called and Orsi Secretary told us that they would not come, which was in another thing. There has not reported ...
Now we learn that Neptunia SA began to pay the debt and that BMI not only openly lied to us in the case of debt-x ground, but also knowing that we received the eviction cedulones were unable to tell us (something also promised) that Neptunia is paying the debt. Meaning that our situation is even more vulnerable. And for spice, and now tell us that arrived a few cedulones can not do anything ... Divide and rule! Little by little we will be cooking ...
Far from the theory of two evils, we are neither the right nor the left ... we do not do any big broth political. We want to keep it possible to inhabit the same spaces that people are living!
Time is running, we have little time and is not the most propitious time for social mobilization ... there are many people who go on vacation or working out ...
We thank you all the solidarity received so far and urge to double diffusion: painted graffiti on the bondis and bathrooms, flyers, meils, etc. The forms of solidarity are several, each choose according to their ability and desire.
Every slightest action enough, coupled with other PTO ... Graffiti on rocha, another on the way maldonado, one in the bathroom of the university, another in the Interbalnearia ... all taken together give us strength and courage to continue fighting ... and that power makes them see that every eviction has a political cost, and in turn makes us see those who want a different world we have more power than we sometimes feel ... and notes to the squatters in general that their struggle is not an "every man for himself" but a social struggle in which they are not alone.
Resistance and Joy! Some squatters
Coast.

TAX: IS IT FOR THE MAYOR AICR ALEMANNO
is approaching the time of the introduction of the tax and the situation in Rome, the Capitoline to the industry, is getting more confusing: not only should they, in fact, address the inevitable consequences of a new duty, certainly not in one of the easiest for the industry but, to date, there are still no precise information on how, when and by whom the tax should be levied. In that regard, we publish an excerpt from an open letter written by the general manager of Cardinal Hotel St Peter in Rome, Massimiliano Celestini, the mayor of Rome Gianni Alemanno, on behalf of Deputy Directors and Heads of receiving 4 and 5 star hotels (AICR), in the same Celestini is a member of the National Executive Council: "We begin by that a law approved in July 2010 can not come into effect from 1 January 2011, especially when it comes to laws relating to hotel reservations. We know very well how many people in that time may already have booked a room in a hotel in Rome for 2011 and including many might have already paid. A law like the one approved by the mayor Alemanno, that will be retroactive, could cause problems is the client, not knowing that nothing is in the face of apparently illegal request, and the hotel employee in the act to require the same customer. How Long For Erythromycin To Start To Work
"I am the" Lone Wolf "Animal Liberation Front"
New text from prison Walter Bond
From Golden, Colorado prison.
December 5, 2010
On April 30, 2010, at 3:30 am factory burned sheepskin Denver, Colorado to ashes. I did follow strictly the rules of conduct of the Animal Liberation Front, making sure not to harm any living thing at the same time causing the greatest number of economic losses to a business related to animal exploitation. I used the pseudonym "Lone Wolf" in my statements to the press, knowing even do that work could provide the authorities at the time to relate my actions. I did it for a specific reason where you delve into this article a little later, but for now, let me take a look back and I explain how I ended up joining the Animal Liberation Front.
My involvement in the movement for animal rights took place some 14 years ago. I used to put flyers on vivisection, veganism, factory farming and other forms of animal abuse in the windshields of cars and on bulletin boards. I was excited to educate people. He had worked to build slaughterhouses, and he believed that if everyone knew what I had known in those places would be made vegan. After a year of leaflets very much, my activism was interrupted by a prison sentence related to a fire (that crime was not related to animal liberation, but also tried not to harm any living being). During the 4 years of my imprisonment lasted studied on animal rights, biocentrism, philosophy, world history, evolution, religion, mythology, law, social justice movements, politics, sociology ... I read anything that fell into my hands and was not fiction.
Anyway, after my release from prison and at the end of my probation, I moved to Denver, Colorado, the city where I had spent my adolescence. I had a couple of good friends who were still in the northern suburbs, and also an aunt and some cousins \u200b\u200bwho lived there. The year was 2003. He had already assumed that there was a lack of education that was to continue the cruelty to animals, as several groups of activists had been released so many videos where it showed the cruelty of vivisection laboratories, slaughterhouses, ... It was not a problem related to the distribution of these images. With the meteoric growth of Internet, anyone who wanted to know who was behind the production of its "food" could find with the click a button.
I've talked to enough people to realize that not everyone in there is a vegan who cares about living things. There are plenty of people that animals do not give a shit, just have certain fetishes with dogs and cats, and they care only to the extent of not wanting to hear about not eating the carcasses of animals killed . During that time I met many people who were most outraged that were taking these facts to light that the facts themselves. Apparently, if you support the death and slavery three times a day no problem, but if I talk about it, then I am an asshole. I decided to turn my attention in the animals themselves.
I can not give many details about those years, and to save animals from torture and death is considered an act of terrorism by the United States government. But I'll tell you something: when you assume the risk to save an animal from a horrible death and you look into my eyes and see their gratitude and love, it changes you. On the same day you become a better person and again you are able to distinguish between what is right and what is wrong with the same simplicity with which you did when you were a child.
I began to interact with the local vegan community. I was invited to a meeting that immediately, I felt out of place. The Vegan community Denver had a similar range to that of a congress of the Ku Klux Klan. He had been working part-time abolitionist organization for animal rights, whose main objectives were the promotion of veganism and information about farm animals, especially the so-called "free-range" or "farming without cages . The night progressed and many of those hypocrites began to let fly their views, because the amount of beer he had consumed. The next thing that happened was a pathetic sort of speed dating session, where everyone stood in a circle and briefly presented themselves, said they had worked and what did it for the animals. I had never seen a sample of similar intellectual egotism.
my turn came, and I mentioned my stance against the business of "free-range." Then I began to notice the strange looks and hear comments on the outdoor rearing was "a step in the right direction" and that "Rome was not built in a day" even heard someone say, "I'm vegan, but I'm glad that those who eat meat now have a compassionate alternative and free of cruelty. " To which I replied "I can not believe to be listening to a group promoting the use vegan of animals. " After that, he started a huge argument and I went to one meeting with the firm determination to uncover the truth about the "free-range" and to educate the world again. Only this time with more enthusiasm and vigor than ever.
I started distributing pamphlets throughout Denver on "free-range", also left thousands of wipers, until my fingers were full of sores up and down those pots. Information tables put in a lot of events and talked to hundreds of people. I went to a lot of punk and hardcore concert to try to recruit younger. I began to lay the bases of a group that called VFL (Vegan Vegan for life-death.) In short, did everything that was in my power to give strength, motivate and promote animal liberation, even at work. At that time I was manager of bulk in a local health food store. Took the word "VEGAN" tattooed on his neck, and spoke with any customer who asked me about it, and I assure you that was enough.
For some time I had a blog in which he wrote articles and tried to revive and revise the hardline vegan philosophy. But the more I did, the more my frustration grew. The people I talked when I put all information desks listening what he said about being raped to get cows milk, their babies killed for veal, on how those same cows had just finally being killed for hambruguesas and leather. Those same people, after looking at me, without having understood anything and I said "Man, I could not leave the cheese, male. The cheese is so good .... " Sometimes returning to places where I had left my pamphlets to find that half of them had been thrown to the ground.
Everyone tucked into the punk rock thought that eating meat was fine, as long as the bring forth out of a dumpster, and the people of hardcore and straight edges were more interested in practicing dance steps and playing video games that put their beliefs. I burned all that.
The new friends that liked me so much talk about how well we did for being vegan and how wrong it was the rest of the world and blah, blah, blah, blah ... I burned all, vegans piss me off so pretentious like everyone else. For some months all I did was work and little else. I was depressed, I felt marginalized and ineffective. I began to daydream at work with what you could do if he had no fear, I got nothing to lose. If that occurs could be a member of the underground, could be a Front activist Animal Liberation. The more I thought about that, the happier I became. And one day, at work, an idea struck my mind: what better time to do things than the present. I quit my job and my normal life.
first thing I knew, I was working alone. Knew and had been with several local activists and there was none that would be deemed appropriate for that. Next thing I know is that it would make it big. With the government repression that currently applies to any effective campaign by animal rights, I decided to go for it. If I'm going to catch terrorists and call for breaking the window of a McDonalds, I thought then should think big. I chose the factory
sheepskin Denver for two reasons. The first was because they made a lot of money selling hides. Animals suffer and die so that people can have a nice comfortable seat cover for their bikes. In my opinion, no better than the Nazis made soap and crafts with the corpses of the Jews. The second reason was because the site seemed quite flammable. Never divulge as I did because it is not important, but where there is a will, there's a way to do it.
After all was said and done, I felt great! Had destroyed a farm animal center and had cost the industry half a million dollars. I used the name "Lone Wolf of the FLA" in communiqués to the press to convey to my brothers and sisters around the world FLA (whoever they are) the power to act alone. Wanted the whole world knew that one person can get a lot of things.
Unfortunately, because I caught a sneak. What gives me most pain is trusting that person. But the principles are still unsolved. All they did was manipulate me to say that my three-month campaign had cost me $ 150, while animal abusers had gone three quarters of a million dollars.
On February 11, 2011 will be sentenced. Whatever sentence I impose, it is only a third of my troubles. I have yet to face other charges in Utah. Attorneys for the United States want people to think that the Animal Liberation Front, and I in particular, are terrorists. I am not a terrorist, and the FLA is not a terrorist organization. In fact, not even an organization. The FLA is becoming vegetarian or vegan who does not jeopardize any lives and decides, illegally, freeing animals and / or cause economic damage to those who take advantage of the use and abuse of animals. Since its inception in 1976, no human and no animal has been damaged, quite the contrary. Thousands of lives have been saved and thousands of animal abusers have been stopped. A terrorist is a person or group that is targeting and killing innocent people to create panic and to establish control through fear.
On April 30, at 3:30 am my life changed. I was tired of seeing death based companies continue their business without problem and decided to do something drastic about it. I am proud to have acted on behalf of those who can not defend themselves. I can look deep in my heart and know that I missed them and I did everything I could. And believe me, when you live in a cage is everything you expect someone to do for you. Animal liberation, whatever the cost! -------------------------------------------------

TIPPING THE BEST STAFF FOR PLANS TO BE
"A carriage with coach and four during the transfer from the airport", "a room with sea view in Florence," "love messages included in tributes floral ',' beds in position bioenergetics', 'an employee to tuck "," a serenade under the window of the hotel' and, last but not least, "the car in Venice." These are just some of the more extravagant claims (unlikely, but true!) To whom face the Italian hotels. You according to a recent survey sponsored by the portal LateRooms among them the leader among the peninsula, in order to draw a profile of their customers (both Italian and foreign), pointing out flaws, virtues, habits and quirks. The survey, which was attended by more than a thousand hotels affiliated with LateRooms.com, shows, first, that online reservations are popular among foreigners (71.5%), especially for short stays as weekends (86.4%). The formula is also the most popular b & b (96.2%). In terms of education, also Italian hotels have no doubt that European tourists are more reliable and educated travelers Eastern and American, respectively the second and third place for this special classification. Another interesting fact, then, is related to the distribution of tips: the staff plans to get the most conspicuous, followed by the waiters and staff room to the front desk. A sign, the latter, how they are now very definitely gone down, from this point of view, the golden days of receipt, once the main recipient of the generosity of the guests. IHG and Marriott: OBJECTIVE INDIA
"India is the second largest Asian market for hotel development rate: over the next three years it is expected that the number of rooms belonging to the hotel chain will double, reaching a total figure of around 120 thousand rooms. " The words of the president and chief operating officer of Marriott International, Arne Sorenson, sum up the roots of what can be considered a real contest of the major international groups to intercept the increasing demand for hospitality of the Indian market. Marriott, in particular, will rise from the current eleven to 41 hotels by 2013 to reach 100 by the year 2015, the transaction involving seven of its brand. At the same time, InterContinental (IHG) aims to triple its presence in the Indian sub-continent, from the current 12 hotels to over thirty five years. At the heart of IHG policy of expansion has been mainly limited own brand service Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Exspress. "Following the strong economic growth of the country and the consequent development of a substantial middle class in the country," says the managing director of IHG Asia Australasia, Jan Smits, 'We are seeing a significant increase in demand in the mid-market segment. " The expansion of IHG in India should cover in particular the major Indian cities and some secondary centers of key importance.

WHO IS REALLY THE BUTLER OF HOTEL
The hospitality industry is one of the sectors of the economy from higher growth potential, but also a segment where competition is becoming fiercer. The hotel, therefore, are constantly searching for new strategies to differentiate their offerings from those of competitors. Bedbugs ARE APPARENTLY EVEN IN CLEAN ROOMS
Where the bugs are hiding? This is a question facing not only the travelers worried about having to share their bed hotel with these unwanted guests, but also hotels, so these tiny insects are one of the worst nightmares. "Even why, "says the entomologist, in charge of integrated pest control program from Cornell University, Jody Gangloff-Kaufmann," even the rooms that look clean can actually hide bugs somewhere. Look under the mattress, in fact, it is useful but not sufficient. Bedbugs often hide in places that are generally less disturbed: behind the text, for example, or in the structural interstices of the bed. The first thing to look for traces of them are so I did: though not decisive (could be old), however, represent a clear warning signal, and their presence certainly requires very careful inspection of the room. For travelers, Finally, I suggest you never leave your luggage on the bed. You never know: the bugs, which are activated by the presence of a person could go out to eat and then find the first available gap to hide again. And the bags are perfect for them. "

Charles Thorp covered the protests in Viedma by a trigger-happy event ten days ago. Yesterday was illegally detained and tortured.
Charles Thorp has 19 years, photographer and lives in Viedma, Rio Black. His images show the notes of most of the media covering issues in the region. Yesterday, while leaving a concert, was intercepted by the police of Rio Negro, detained and tortured in a police station. From the hospital, where he is hospitalized with skull and two cracked ribs, burned his hands and internal injuries, Carlos claimed that it was a brutal reprisal for their work.
His captors had sworn it: a few days before the crackdown had uncovered a group of residents protesting the assassination of William Trafiñanco, the teenager who died was 16 years old shot in the back by a policeman on 25 October. Charles had gone to the scene and had pictures that depict both the indignation of the neighbors, like police to suppress the confessions.
Yesterday, ten days after that event, went to a group Damas Gratis recital at the Disco Tropical Tattoo. He left at 5:30 with three friends. Outside there were some incidents. They were leaving, but police said a motorcycle. "This is the press," shouted the officer. The friends realized. "Come here to kill us," said one. But there was no time, five cops jumped on the young man went on beating him into a van and took him to the station 34. When swung a rifle butt hit him in the jaw and other blows that left him unconscious.
He woke up leaning against a fence. He had been tied seal and taking a mate about it. "That hit me with truncheons and I put things in the year. As I told you sos "so that you get your pics to the newspaper?" He told Time Carlos Argentino.
One of the policemen ordered to sign a form stating that he had participated in a riot. "You're a NN here," he said to convince him. But Charles did not sign. "Then I made my bow and trigger three times in the head in different positions. The police set and pulled the trigger again charger. At one point he said: Hit me a shot and let us the fuck '. "
With that order the beating escalated and the cops decided to sign him: he was caught between two heated in a stove roll for fingerprinting and I burned all the fingers.
few minutes later, a medical examiner told police that he had nothing, and he was drunk.
At 9:30 am, following a move to another police station and several strokes, Carlos was released. His family took him to a hospital, where he was admitted, and then filed the complaint. As he urinated blood, as well as recover from the shock, doctors expected the test results. From his bed, Carlos defined his situation with few words. "I love my job," he said. And I'll keep going. "

SUNLIGHT TO HELP CONTAIN COSTS BACK TO ROME
Good design, capable of promoting solar lighting environments, can save from 15% to 75% of energy consumption for the electric light of the hotel. A bear and the consulting firm, specialized services for eco-sustainability, EcoGreenHotel, who in a recent blog tells why the hotel should always try to create structures that can take full advantage of sunlight for illumination. "This is not, however, only to build large windows," says the project director of the American Energy Center of Wisconsin, Abby Vogen. "But the study also orientation of the building, installation of windows, installation of lighting and energy efficient mechanical systems, and to understand how all these components are influenced by natural light. " An experiment conducted recently by the same Energy Center of Wisconsin has calculated, in particular, the amount of energy saved through the creation of an efficient lighting system in Iowa, in the American Midwest. Well, comparing two rooms are alike, one constructed according to standard fees and the other on the basis of a more advanced design, the data revealed that, in the second case, the savings is around 32% of energy Annual used for lighting and 22% of the total.
